INtroduction

When you use the courier services of Trans Express Services Lanka Pvt Ltd, you agree to these terms. This document explains the services provided, your responsibilities, and what both you and the company are accountable for.

service provided

We provide comprehensive courier and logistics services, including package delivery, document transportation, warehousing, and distribution, as described in the service agreement.

client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate order details, including recipient information, pickup and delivery times, and payment details.

  • Ensure all packages are properly packaged, labeled, and in compliance with regulations.

  • Ensure that no dangerous, hazardous, or illegal items are shipped through our service.

  • The Client is responsible for any loss or damage resulting from inaccuracies in the provided information.

rates, invoicing and Payments

  • Service rates and charges are outlined in the attached schedule and may be revised with 30 days’ notice.

  • Invoices will be sent on a [monthly/weekly/quarterly] basis, and payments must be made within 5 business days from the invoice date.

  • Payment terms, such as COD collection and reporting, will follow the conditions set in the service agreement.

DELIVERY PROCESS

  • We guarantee delivery within 3 working days, as per the Delivery Promise outlined in Schedule B. Open Document.

  • Deliveries will be attempted up to 3 times. If unsuccessful, the package will be marked as “Failed to Deliver.”

  • Packages will be returned to the Client if they cannot be delivered within the agreed period.

liability

  • We are responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of goods. Our liability is limited to the declared value of the goods or the cash collected via COD.(5000rs)

  • We are not responsible for damages to fragile items, or for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters).

confidentiality

We will maintain the confidentiality of all Client information and take measures to protect it from unauthorised disclosure.

indemnity

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Trans Express Lanka Pvt Ltd from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the Client’s failure to comply with the terms of this agreement, including providing inaccurate order details or shipping prohibited items.

dispute resolution

  • Any disputes related to this Agreement shall be resolved through mutual discussions.

  • If disputes cannot be resolved, they will be referred to arbitration in accordance with Sri Lankan laws.

termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days by written notice.

  • Any breach of this Agreement may result in immediate termination.

amendments

  1. We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Client.
